Garage slab with crack-repair lines, empty and ready to coat

An empty garage, cracks marked, before the coating. This is the condition the crew needs to walk into.

Your side

Three things you handle.

01

Everything out

Clear the work area before the crew arrives. For a garage, that means the whole garage: vehicles, boxes, benches, and anything on the slab. The crew needs the concrete and a clear path to it.

02

Your things stay yours

You take care of your own belongings. Kraken does not move, store, or replace items left in the work area. If it matters, it is out before the start.

03

Ready on time

Be set up at the scheduled start. The door is open, the area is clear, and someone can let the crew in. A job that cannot start on time does not get the preparation this warranty depends on.

The work

What you are getting into.

Same system Kraken publishes on the site: diamond grinding, crack repair, moisture testing, an epoxy base, decorative flake to full coverage, and a polyaspartic topcoat. A typical garage is installed in as little as one day. Your proposal holds the schedule for your slab.

1. The concrete, as it is

Cracks get sealed. Moisture gets tested. The coating goes on concrete that has been opened up, not on a dirty slab with a quick wash.

2. Diamond grinding

The floor is ground mechanically so the coating can bond. Kraken does not acid-etch this system.

3. Edges and detail

Open floor is not enough. The edges, where the slab meets the wall, get ground so the coating is not thin where tires turn.

4. Flake and the pour

Decorative flake goes into the base coat to full coverage. A clear polyaspartic topcoat locks it in. It is UV-stable, built for hot tires, salt, and a Montana winter. Watch the pour before you sign.

5. The finished floor

This photo is one finished Kraken garage. The colors on your job are the ones you select below. Those are the colors to order.

Materials

All 58 colors.

We prefer decorative flake. The longevity is much better than quartz, metallic, or solid tint. All 58 colors are here, in the same groups as the services page. Select every color this job needs.

    Warranty

    What the guarantee depends on.

Kraken publishes a lifetime adhesion warranty on this coating. It stays in force when the floor is prepared the way this page describes, and when you contact Kraken inside the notice window if something is wrong.

The adhesion warranty is void if:

    • Something is wrong with the coating and you do not contact Kraken within the notice window written on this job.
    • The work area was not cleared, so the concrete could not be prepared the way this agreement requires.
    • Belongings were left in the work area.
    • You were not ready at the scheduled start, and the crew could not do that preparation.

      The job
